Service and Support

Vapourtec systems are engineered to be robust, reliable, and intuitive to operate. However, long-term success in flow chemistry depends on more than hardware alone. Our dedicated Service and Support team works alongside you throughout the lifetime of your equipment — from installation and training to troubleshooting and preventative maintenance.

Whether you are new to flow chemistry or operating multiple systems across R&D and process development environments, we provide responsive, expert support to help you maximise performance, reliability, and return on investment.

Installation and Commissioning

Our experienced engineers support the installation and commissioning of Vapourtec systems to ensure they are correctly configured, fully operational, and safely integrated into your laboratory environment.

Support includes:

  • Professional system installation and initial inspection
  • Verification of key functions and operating parameters
  • Guidance on laboratory integration and best practice setup
  • Advice on safe operation across a wide range of flow conditions

Training

Effective training reduces downtime, improves data quality, and accelerates reliable results. Vapourtec provides practical, application-focused training tailored to your specific system configuration and research goals.

Training can include:

  • System start-up, priming, and shutdown procedures
  • Method development, reactor selection, and operating best practice
  • Handling air- and moisture-sensitive reagents
  • Managing temperature, pressure, and residence time
  • Troubleshooting common experimental challenges
  • Routine cleaning and maintenance procedures

Technical Support and Problem Solving

Flow chemistry development often involves new reactions, challenging reagents, and unfamiliar operating conditions. If issues arise, our technical support team can help you quickly diagnose the cause and return to productive work.

We can assist with:

  • Unexpected pressure behaviour
  • Flow instability or pump performance concerns
  • Reactor performance and temperature control issues
  • Blockages, leaks, and fluidic connectivity problems
  • Optimising operating conditions for reliability and repeatability
  • Advice on compatible system configurations and expansion modules

Preventative Maintenance Contracts (PMCs)

Routine servicing ensures long-term reliability, consistent performance, and reduced unplanned downtime. Vapourtec Preventative Maintenance Contracts are designed to keep systems operating to specification.

PMCs may include:

  • Inspection and verification of critical system components
  • Pump performance checks
  • Replacement of wear and service items
  • Functional testing and calibration verification (where applicable)
  • Preventative maintenance recommendations
