SF-10+pump

Applications for heated pumps:

  • Pumping reagents prior to crystallisations
  • Delivering reagents at higher concentrations than can be achieved at room temperature
  • Processing reagents that are solid at room temperature but liquid at higher temperatures
  • Sampling reagents that could precipitate on cooling to room temperature from batch or flow reactors.

The SF-10+ heated pump builds on the pump’s existing capabilities, already cited in many scientific breakthroughs since 2016, with enhanced temperature control and can be heated between ambient and 80 °C as well as allowing for the inlet and outlet tubes to be heated to the same temperature.

In addition, all components within the pump are heated ensuring no cold spots and temperatures can be set using an easy-to-use touchscreen interface or via serial data commands.

Heated inlet and outlet tubes are supplied at 80 cm length.  Length of 150 cm are available as an option.

Features of the SF-10+ (heated) laboratory pump:

  • Inlet tube heating up to 80 °C
  • All pump head components heated ambient to 80 °C
  • Self priming pump
  • High level of chemical compatibility
  • 0.02 mL/min to 10 mL/min
  • Pump up to 10 bar pressure
  • Pump solutions, suspensions, light slurries and gases
  • Pressure measurement and indication
  • User selectable over-pressure trip
  • Variety of electrical interfaces providing versatile options for external control

Operating modes:

The pump can be heated when used under the following operational modes:

  • Constant flow rate
  • Ramping flow rate
  • Volume dosing
  • Pressure controller
  • Gas delivery
  • Oscillation
