    Job Title: Distribution Manager (Technical, Manufacturing, OEM) (full time – 40hrs p/w)

    Job role:

    An exciting opportunity to work for a Hi-tech SME manufacturing company, based in Suffolk, East Anglia. This role is part of the sales team and will be reporting to the Sales Manager.

    Main responsibilities:

    • To liaise with distributors worldwide
    • Encourage and manage distributor performance
    • Identify, evaluate and appoint distributors for new markets
    • Drive distributors to achieve targets
    • Maintain current distributor relations
    • Train distributors by providing new information on products and managing distributor information stream
    • Keeping Vapourtec products in forefront of distributors mind
    • Maintain a distributor prospect list
    • Follow up sales requests with distributors
    • Answer questions in a timely manner
    • Inform distributors on order progress
    • Quote generation
    • Use of CRM system

    Key Skills:

    • Professional approach
    • Willing to occasionally travel outside Europe
    • Good presentation skills
    • Good organisational skills
    • An ability to work under pressure
    • Able to work to own initiative
    • Quick to learn
    • Accuracy and attention to detail
    • Good customer care skills
    • Computer literate with MS office

    Desirable:

    • Further educated or with a scientific/technical background
    • Ability to speak a secondary language
    • Previous experience in Managing distributor relations

     

    Additional Information:

    The Salary for the position is based on experience and will range from £21,000 to £25,000 p/a + performance bonus paid quarterly based on distributor sales (estimated at £5,000 OTE).

    Candidates must be eligible to, and hold all relevant finalised paperwork to live and work in the UK.

    Job Title: Production Engineer (Technical, Manufacturing, OEM) (full time – 40hrs p/w)

    Job role:

    An exciting opportunity to work for a Hi-tech SME manufacturing company, based in Suffolk, East Anglia.

    The role is part of the Operations team, reporting to the Production manager, and involves the in-process inspection and assembly operations for the in-house manufactured laboratory equipment.

    Main responsibilities:

    • Electronic assembly
    • Mechanical assembly
    • Assembly of small tubular reactors and fittings
    • Improvement of product assembly through exploring new methods
    • Testing of reactor assemblies at pressure
    • Supporting production technicians with fault finding
    • Reporting of slow processes and quality concerns to line managers
    • Manage workload to achieve targets

    Skills/Qualifications (minimum):

    • Minimum 2 years experience in a production biased role
    • 2 A levels or National diploma / GNVQ level 3
    • Experience with mechanical assemblies
    • Experience of soldering
    • Able and willing to learn
    • Able to work in a busy deadline driven environment.
    • Able to multi task with an organised approach.
    • Confident with Windows, Excel, Word.
    • Ability to read engineering drawings

    Desirable:

    • Good technical understanding of materials
    • Full UK driving licence
    • Experience in fault-finding electro-mechanical assemblies

     

    Additional Information:

    The Salary for the position is based on experience and will range from £18,000 to £23,000 p/a

    You must hold a full driving license. Candidates must be eligible to, and hold all relevant finalised paperwork to live and work in the UK.
