Full time – 40hrs p/w (would consider 30 hrs+ p/w for the right candidate)

Role Overview::

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Marketing Assistant to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual looking for their first role in marketing, particularly within the scientific or life-science sector.

The successful candidate will support the delivery of marketing activities across digital, print, and event channels, working closely with colleagues in sales, R&D, and technical applications. Full training will be provided.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in creating, editing, and publishing marketing content, including website content, blog posts, product pages, social media updates, and newsletters.
Help prepare marketing materials such as brochures, flyers, presentations, case studies, and application notes.
Support digital marketing efforts, including SEO improvements, email campaigns, website analytics, and social media engagement.
Maintain and update the company CRM and contact databases.
Co-ordinate Vapourtec’s presence at industry events, trade shows, webinars, and customer demonstrations.
Assist with market research, competitive analysis, and gathering customer insights.
Help manage product photography, graphics, and media resources.
Liaise with external design, web, and print agencies where needed.
Provide general administrative support to the wider commercial team.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential

A good understanding of branding principles and the ability to apply them consistently across digital and print materials.
Proficiency with standard office (e.g., Microsoft Office, Google Workspace).
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
A willingness to learn about technical products and scientific applications.

Desirable (but not required):

Experience with digital marketing tools (e.g., WordPress, HubSpot, Mailchimp, Google Analytics).
Familiarity with scientific terminology or laboratory environments.
Basic design skills (e.g., Canva, Photoshop).
Basic video creation or editing skills (e.g., Adobe Premier Pro, Capcut or similar)
