The Minisci reaction is considered a straightforward and convenient strategy for achieving the direct C–H functionalization of heterocyclic molecules. This radical-based reaction platform has been increasingly studied due to the predictability of its outcome based on the nature of the radicals and heterocycles involved. Given the significance of these heterocyclic scaffolds in the development and production of drug molecules, the scaling up of this reaction manifold is regarded as essential. In this review, recent strategies aimed at achieving this goal are presented, with a focus on the implementation of reaction conditions under continuous flow.
