Vapourtec Director Duncan Guthrie and CSO Dr. Manuel Nuño attended Flow Chemistry Europe (FCE) 2024 in Málaga, Spain last week. The 12th iteration of this annual must-attend flow chemistry event was a huge success.
We enjoyed networking with existing customers as well as meeting new faces in the field of flow chemistry. Dr. Nuño’s presentation titled “Advances in continuous flow” gave attendees an overview of the expanding range of flow chemistry tools Vapourtec has to offer – from flow CSTR, with newly added photochemical capabilities, to exciting software advances and innovative reagent pumping solutions for challenging applications.
Szilvia Gilmore, once again, did a brilliant job of organising the event, which was hosted at the ILUNION hotel. The catering was exceptional, and to top it off, the hotel was just a short walk from Málaga’s charming old town, making it a fantastic venue. With 95 participants from 18 different countries, this year’s event had a record number of posters – 42 in total, which highlights the growing strength and popularity of FCE.
FCE is certainly an event to watch. We are excited to see what’s next.
