We are looking forward to showcasing the latest flow chemistry technologies from Vapourtec at the forthcoming 36th EPS European Peptide Symposium and 12th IPS International Peptide Symposium (28th August – 2nd September 2022) in Sitges, Spain.
The conference will take place at the Melià Sitges, a leading hotel and convention center, and is focused around the theme “From Peptides to the World”, with a packed agenda. The event is one of the biggest in terms of peptide science and brings together scientists from across the world to share cutting edge research and develop collaborations.
Victoire Laude, Research Scientist with Vapourtec, will be presenting a poster during the event focused on continuous flow peptide synthesis with some relevant examples like GLP-1. Victoire will also be speaking about using Vapourtec technology for solid phase peptide synthesis, including how the innovative variable bed flow reactor and reactor housing, which will be on display at our stand, can facilitate and optimise continuous flow peptide synthesis.
The Vapourtec peptide synthesis system is a group of accessories that can be integrated with any Vapourtec R-Series system to facilitate continuous flow peptide synthesis. The versatile R-Series flow chemistry system from Vapourtec can be used to automate every step of the synthesis of proteins and peptides, making it faster, easier and safer to replicate than traditional batch chemistry.
The 36EPS scientific committee has set out to assemble an exciting program with a broad range of topics covering, among others, advances in peptide chemistry and structure, bioactive peptides and their therapeutic applications, and peptide biomaterials, nanotechnology and delivery. In addition, associated satellite meetings and workshops will take place.
