Flow chemistry technology firm Vapourtec has strengthened its links with China by organising a successful seminar that introduced the advantages of continuous chemical processing and showcased the latest technologies.
Hosted by the Shanghai Research Institute of Chemistry Industry (SRICI) and organised by Vapourtec’s Chinese distributor Tegent, the seminar attracted a large number of pharma and polymer industry specialists as well as academics from universities and institutes across China.
The seminar followed the three day CPhI China exposition in Shanghai at which the company exhibited and comes soon after the announcement of a research partnership for Vapourtec with the Frontier Institute of Science and Technology (FIST) at Xi’an Jiaotong University in China.
Dr John Murray, Sales Specialist at Vapourtec, commented: “The seminar proved to be a very successful way of spreading the word about the burgeoning potential of flow chemistry processing.”Awareness in China of the benefits flow chemistry can offer for new synthesis pathways and process improvements is growing all the time.
I was highly encouraged by the levels of interest and engagement from attendees.”
“The CPhI China expo also proved to be a great success with significant interest shown in our technology,” added John who was also interviewed by China Chemical instrument network – Chem17 whilst out in the Far East.
