For many laboratories, uninterrupted uptime is critical. Whether developing new synthetic routes, optimizing peptide workflows, or scaling a reaction from discovery to process development, delays caused by maintenance issues, or troubleshooting can quickly impact productivity.
To help customers access support faster and more efficiently, Vapourtec has introduced its Service Portal, creating a central point where users can directly manage technical support requests, preventative maintenance enquiries and system servicing.
The portal has been designed around the realities of day-to-day laboratory work. Instead of relying on long email chains or fragmented communication, customers can now log and track requests in one place, helping them move from issue identification to resolution more quickly.
Through the service portal, customers can:
- Raise technical support tickets directly with the Vapourtec service team
- Request preventative maintenance contracts (PMCs)
- Enquire about spare parts and consumables
- Arrange servicing and repairs
- Track ongoing support requests
The platform supports Vapourtec’s wider commitment to long-term system reliability and practical customer support. With more than 1,000 systems installed globally, Vapourtec customers operate across a wide range of research environments, from academic flow chemistry groups to industrial R&D laboratories and process development facilities.
The Service Portal works alongside Vapourtec’s experienced support team, including service engineers, applications chemists, and product support specialists, providing a more streamlined route to technical assistance while maintaining the direct expert interaction customers rely on.
“Flow chemistry systems are often operating at the centre of active research programmes,” said Sek-Choong Tan, Service Engineer at Vapourtec. “When customers need support, they need clear communication and a fast response. The Service Portal helps us manage that process more efficiently while giving customers better visibility of their requests.”
In addition to reactive troubleshooting, the portal also supports proactive maintenance planning. Preventative servicing plays an important role in maintaining pump performance, fluidic integrity, temperature control accuracy, and overall system reliability — particularly in high-throughput or long-duration workflows.
The launch reflects Vapourtec’s continued investment not only in flow chemistry hardware, but also in the infrastructure that supports laboratories throughout the lifetime of their systems.
