Vapourtec (Cambridge, UK), one of the world’s leading innovators in flow chemistry systems, will be showcasing their latest technologies, in conjunction with Chinese distributors Tegent Scientific, at the CPhI China event (Shanghai, June 24-26).
Visitors to the Vapourtec stand (Hall N1, booth N1D18) will be able to view the easy-Photochem flow chemistry system which features the pioneering UV-150 photochemical reactor.
Duncan Guthrie, Vapourtec founder and MD, explained: “There has been a recent resurgence in interest in photochemistry due to its ability to provide novel structures and alternative, greener synthetic routes.
“The easy-Photochem system allows bench chemists to explore more powerful transformations in an easy to use, safe and reliable package that offers precision, repeatability and control to photochemical reactions by combining photochemistry with continuous processing.
“The complementary UV-150 is a photochemical reactor that delivers a host of benefits including wavelength filtering, user selectable UV power and temperature control that ranges from -5°C to 80°C,” added Duncan.
Also on show in Shanghai will be the Vapourtec R-Series, a flexible, precise and robust system that is used in industrial, pharmaceutical and university labs across the globe.
