Preventative Maintenance Contracts

Keep Your Flow Chemistry System Performing at its Best

Unexpected instrument downtime can interrupt research, delay projects and reduce laboratory productivity. Regular preventative maintenance helps maintain the performance, accuracy and reliability of your Vapourtec flow chemistry system, reducing the risk of unplanned interruptions and ensuring your equipment is ready when you need it.

Carried out on-site by a factory-trained Vapourtec Service Engineer, each preventative maintenance visit includes a comprehensive inspection and service of your system, together with calibration, software updates and practical advice to help maximise long-term performance.

Vapourtec Flow-Chemistry Support

Comprehensive system inspection and maintenance

During a preventative maintenance visit, key components of your Vapourtec flow chemistry system are disassembled, inspected and serviced, allowing normal wear to be identified before it develops into a more significant issue.

Scheduled service components, including pump seals, Rheodyne components, Prime Valve Assemblies and Back Pressure Regulator cartridges, are replaced where appropriate. Solvent and reagent tubing is also inspected and replaced as required.*

The visit also includes assessment of reactors, columns and associated accessories, including UV-150 Photochemical Reactors, Autosamplers and SF-10 units where applicable.

Temperature and pressure sensors are calibrated to help ensure accurate process control, reliable experimental data and continued system performance. Applicable Vapourtec software updates are also installed as part of the service.

More than routine maintenance

A preventative maintenance visit is also an opportunity to draw on the experience of a Vapourtec Service Engineer.

During the visit, the engineer can discuss any issues you have encountered, provide advice on efficient system operation and recommend preventative measures that could help maintain performance and reliability.

Training sessions can also be incorporated into the visit, making preventative maintenance especially valuable for laboratories introducing new users or wishing to refresh existing knowledge.

Plan Ahead with Preventative Maintenance

Regular preventative maintenance helps maximise system availability, maintain measurement accuracy and reduce the likelihood of unexpected downtime. By identifying wear before failures occur, scheduled servicing can help minimise disruption while extending the reliable operation of your Vapourtec system.

Whether your system is supporting routine synthesis, reaction optimization or process development, preventative maintenance provides confidence that your equipment will continue to perform when your research demands it.
