Vapourtec have been featured on ITV’s Anglia news programme in reference to the recently launched ‘Covid-19 hotspot tracker’ developed by the company to assess risk throughout the local authority areas of England.
The news segment read thus: “The Local infection rates are being monitored daily by a lab engineering company in Bury St Edmunds. Vapourtec have developed a Covid-19 hotspot tracker. The reported daily Cases from government data are put online to show the trends where cases are rising or falling and to help identify high risk areas. It was first developed to protect staff at the company travelling to laboratories across the country.”
Vapourtec Operations Manager Chris Butters was then interviewed and commented: “The Health and well-being of our workforce is our number one priority and we wanted to be able to analyse the good data from the government. We saw that there was a need to have a tool where trends are shown very clearly so you can make decisions on where you would travel to.”
