With over 20 years of flow chemistry expertise, Vapourtec offers solutions for a wide range of application. Below is a collection of videos highlighting product features, example of applications and more.
Learn how the Vapourtec PS-30™ Pilot Scale Peptide Synthesizer accelerates Fast-Flow SPPS using patented Variable Bed Flow Reactor (VBFR) technology. See how peptides can be scaled from 2 to 30 mmol with high crude purity, real-time process monitoring and significantly reduced synthesis times.
Designed for chemistry and chemical engineering laboratories, the system supports over 60 control and logging variables (expandable to 120+) and integrates third-party pumps, sensors, valves and other equipment via the industry-standard OPC UA protocol.
Watch the video to see how the Reaction Controller and Datalogger simplifies laboratory automation, improves data quality and unifies multi-vendor equipment into a single experimental platform.
This video demonstrates how the Peptide-Builder™ automates peptide method generation, including reagent calculations, system configuration and synthesis planning for rapid, reproducible Fast-Flow peptide synthesis.
Designed for open-access laboratories, the software supports queued syntheses, real-time inline UV monitoring and process analytical insight, enabling peptide chemists to optimize methods, evaluate difficult sequences and support confident scale-up.

If you’ve not seen a cascade of flow CSTR’s in action before, take a look at this sped-up video from the Vapourtec lab.
Vapourtec’s PS-30™ pilot scale peptide synthesizer is a game-changing solid phase peptide synthesizer (SPPS). It cuts drug development cycle time for significant quantities of target peptides from weeks to less than a day compared to traditional room-temperature batch methods.
Vapourtec have recently expanded into larger facilities at the West Suffolk HQ site in response to continued growth in the specialised flow chemistry marketplace.
Vapourtec has paid particular attention to the design of the Ion electrochemical reactor to ensure that the electrodes can be quickly and easily changed. Also to ensure the design is sufficiently robust to guarantee leak-free operation after every change of electrode. This video shows how quick and easy it is to change the electrode material. With audio.

Vapourtec R-Series has been used to achieve rapid reaction times and high conversion of a Suzuki coupling, using a commercially available supported palladium catalyst. With a reaction time of just 1 min 15 seconds, it was possible to achieve yields of over 80%, at greater than 95% purity following a simple chromatographic separation.
At Vapourtec we have made use of our patented V-3 peristaltic pumps, and new pressure regulation mode to perform a continuous flow hydrogenation with a heterogeneous catalyst pumping as a slurry.
In this video, Ryan demonstrates the synthesis of nanoparticles of a spin-crossover coordination polymer using a procedure developed by the group of Prof. Chick Wilson at the University of Bath.
In this video, Ryan uses the Vapourtec high temperature reactor to carry out a nucleophilic aromatic substitution.
In this video, Ryan performs the biphasic oxidation of an aldehyde using methanol and sodium hypochlorite in the Vapourtec reactor for rapid mixing.
