Visitors to the 7th annual Flow Chemistry Society’s European Conference (Cambridge, Feb 7-8) will be able to witness one of the world’s leading continuous process chemistry systems in action.
Vapourtec will be exhibiting their R-Series system with a fully acid resistant high flow rate pump module capable of 50 ml/min and 50 bar pressure along with inline IR and multiple wavelength UV detector.
Vapourtec Sales Manager Stacey Crane commented: “Using the R-Series, we are highlighting the importance of inline analysis, something which we have been working on following feedback at the 8th Symposium on Continuous Flow Reactor Technology for Industrial Applications.
“We will also be presenting a poster on biphasic oxidation scale up using the Rapid Mixing reactor with full length static mixers to scale up a liquid/liquid biphasic ester synthesis to over 4.5 kg per day.
“We are once again excited to be involved in this event and looking forward to meeting old and new customers and demonstrating a flow chemistry system that’s been cited in 240 peer review publications to date,” added Stacey.
The conference will also feature talks from Vice President of research and innovation at University College Cork, Anita Maguire on taming Diazo’s in flow and John Naber from Merck in Rahway on synthesis of Merck & Co’s phase III compound for Alzheimer’s disease.
