SF-10 pump interface

Operating modes

SF-10 constant flow pump

Constant flow rate

The desired flow rate can be set by the user between 0.02 mL/min to 10 mL/min.  The delivery is started by pressing the RUN button, delivery will continue until the STOP button is pressed unless the over-pressure set point is exceeded.

SF-10 pump with ramp feature

Ramping flow rate

The desired ramp rate can be set by selecting the start flow rate, the end flowrate and the ramp time. The ramp time can be set between 6 seconds and 999 minutes. The delivery is started by pressing the RUN button. At the end of the ramp time, once the end flowrate is reached the pump will continue delivery at the end flowrate. Delivery will continue until the STOP button is pressed unless the over-pressure set point is exceeded.

SF-10 pump with dosing feature

Volume dosing

The desired dose volume (mL) and the rate of dose (mL/min) are selected.  The dose will then start when the RUN button is pressed.  Dosing will continue until the dose volume has been achieve or the STOP button is pressed or if at any time the over-pressure set point is exceeded.

SF-10 pump pressure regulator mode

Pressure controller

The desired upstream pressure is selected. After the RUN button is pressed the SF-10 pump will control the speed at which the fluid is removed from the upstream system in order to maintain the desired pressure. Pressure control will be maintained until the STOP button is pressed. The maximum flowrate of 10 mL/min is also applied in pressure control mode, therefore to avoid exceeding the SF-10 operating pressure of 10 bar it is recommended to fit a pressure release valve up stream of the SF-10 pump.

SF-10 pump gas metering mode

Gas delivery

The gas delivery mode works in a similar manner to the constant flowrate mode except that the gas flow is set by first entering the gas inlet pressure then setting the desired flowrate (SCC/min). The delivery is started by pressing the RUN button, delivery will continue until the STOP button is pressed unless the over-pressure set point is exceeded.

Oscillating

A sinusoidal oscillatory can be set by selecting the peak speed and the amplitude of the oscillation
